Our Research Mentorship Programme has been established to provide structured academic guidance to researchers at different stages of their scholarly journey, enabling them to build strong research foundations, strengthen methodological understanding, refine academic writing, and develop confidence as independent researchers.

A Structured Mentorship Experience

Following an initial assessment of the proposed research, eligible applicants receive a structured mentorship plan outlining the scope of guidance, proposed stages of mentorship, and the corresponding investment. This phase-based approach provides flexibility while ensuring that each researcher receives focused academic support aligned with the evolving needs of the project.

The information provided enables CIIFAL to understand the nature of the proposed research, evaluate the suitability of the requested mentorship, and recommend an appropriate mentorship pathway.
Each application is reviewed individually to ensure that meaningful academic guidance can be provided. Applicants whose research aligns with the scope of the programme will be contacted with further information regarding the mentorship process, programme documentation, and the next steps.

- Download the Pre-Mentorship Research Assessment Form.
- Complete all applicable sections of the form.
- Sign the Declaration and Consent sections.
- Scan the completed form along with any supporting documents relevant to your research (if applicable).
- Email the scanned copy to editor.coniferinsights@gmail.com.
Applicants who are unable to submit the form electronically may submit the completed application in person at the CIIFAL Office during working hours, where applicable.
Applications are reviewed individually. Submission of the form does not guarantee admission into the Research Mentorship Programme. Shortlisted applicants will be contacted regarding the next steps.
